Puppy Love...........

Outfit:

Hats: vintage
Earrings: thrift store
Sheer top: vintage
Sweater: vintage
Pants: thrift store
Shoes: thrift store

Tis the season again for a great reason to wear red! My heart literally grew three times larger when I spotted this puppy love sweater. It has a lovely shade of red with a black schnauzer print profile theme, puffy sleeves, collar that can either be tied or let loose.

The bonus point about this sweater is that it is very suitable for a festive event or can be worn year round as a little jacket. On that note I’d like to take the time to wish you and your family happy holidays and peace.

retro, pretty, unique, and totally pretty! i had a red dog sweater very similar to yours, i think it was in the late 80s- early 90s.

you have a wonderful sense of style, with plenty of charm and grace- a rare combo! :)

Oh dear you are ROCKING the hat, sheer mesh top & pants--especially the pants. I think most people would have looked so frumpy in those pants, but you made them look like so super stylish! I hope you have a wonderful holiday break as well :)

You always look sooo darling! I found you via lagellesdailydose a while ago and I became an instant follower of your blog. I am one for trying new fashion ideas, especially if it involves a vintage twist, so I fell in love with the inspirational jeweled waist idea. Thank you for sharing, my dear. Please stop by my blog, GirlWhimsy to say "hi". Have a blessed Christmas holiday, Miss "Fab".

Whimsical Fashion-conscious Video

Hi!

I thought that you and the followers of your blog and twitter might find this video interesting!

http://bit.ly/7DxnHm

My actress in "Paper Birds" is wearing a vintage jacket from Paris, the skirt used to be a long vintage skirt from a flea market in Los Angeles but was cut to make it mini, the yellow tights were from a department store in Los Angeles, the shoes are from Paris.

The wardrobe was meant to reflect her whimsical and maybe even mythical personality and create a stark contrast with her environment.

The theme of the video is about the inspiration that can be found even in ordinary circumstances and that in giving back / sharing to the world - magic is created. A theme that is appropriate for the holiday season!

Thanks and Happy New Year,
David

P.S. I have still pictures if you'd like as well.
